PHILADELPHIA – College Sports Communicators (CSC) has announced its
Academic All-District teams for the 2023-24 academic year in the men's at-large category, and the University of Pennsylvania is honored to have five men honored: NCAA champion fencer
Bryce Louie, wrestler
CJ Composto, and men's lacrosse players
Emmet Carroll,
Cam Rubin and
James Shipley.
Nominated by CSC members, the Academic All-District at-large teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performance both in their athletic venue and in the classroom (minimum 3.50 GPA). From the Academic All-District teams, select student-athletes have been denoted for advancement to the Academic All-America ballot, which will be voted on by the CSC membership from June 25-July 2 and be announced on July 16 (women) and July 17 (men).
The Penn men's student-athletes on the Academic All-America ballot are Carroll, Louie, Rubin and Shipley.
