#12 MLAX Hits Road for First Ivy Trip at Dartmouth on Saturday

PHILADELPHIA – The nationally ranked University of Pennsylvania men's lacrosse team hits the road for its first Ivy League road trip of the season this weekend, heading to Dartmouth on Saturday, March 23, for a noon matchup with the Big Green.

Last Time Out
*Juniors Ben Smith and Tynan Walsh highlighted the offensive efforts in Penn's 12-7 contest against Saint Joseph's this past Tuesday, tallying three points apiece, with Smith scoring his third hat trick of the year.
 
*On the other end of the field, defenseman Ethan Till caused a season-high two turnovers to disrupt Saint Joseph's pace.
 
*Four other Quakers besides Smith hit the back of the Hawks' net, with Davis Provost, Cam Rubin, Griffin Scane, and Walsh. Provost's third-quarter goal accounts for the first of his collegiate career.

*Senior Carroll currently leads all Ivy League goalkeepers in saves per game, totaling 132 saves on the season and averaging 14.67 per game. The Rye, N.Y. native is also second among goalkeepers in save percentage (.592) and goals-against-average(10.15).
  
 *Junior Walsh sits in the top ten of the Ivy offensive stats, holding eighth in points per game (3.63) and fifth in assists per game (1.63).
  
 *FOGO Constanzo cracked the top ten in the conference in ground balls per game, scooping up 3.33 GBs per contest to sit ninth.
 
The Series with Dartmouth
*The Red and Blue hold a 25-game advantage in the series with Dartmouth, leading 45-20 all-time.
 
*Penn is a nine-game streak that dates back to the 2013 season heading into Saturday's road contest.
 
*The Big Green's last win in the series came from a close 7-6 win during the 2012 campaign.
