Last Time Out
Penn won its seventh straight dual last week, edging Delaware out 4-3 at home. Freshman Liza Tkachenko clinched the match for the Quakers after topping Juleta Honrubia (Delaware) 6-4, 6-3 in the fifth slot of singles. First-years Esha Velaga and Tkachenko won the sole doubles matchup for the Red and Blue against Delaware. The Quakers found their footing in the singles portion of the match, with Iris Gallo getting Penn's first point of the dual from a 6-2, 6-2 win over Maryia Hrynashka. Senior Eileen Wang won her contest with Alina Vasilenko 6-2, 6-2 in the #3 slot to tally another point for the Red and Blue to keep the dual alive. A first-slot victory win from Velaga helped tie up the match to allow Tkachenko to secure the Quakers' seventh straight spring victory.

7-0
The Quakers hold their best spring record since the 1998-99 season when Penn opened the spring portion of its campaign with 15 straight wins.
