ITHACA, N.Y. – The University of Pennsylvania women's basketball team earned another Ivy League victory on Saturday afternoon, battling past Cornell on the road, 61-54.

Jordan Obi led all scorers with 18 points to go along with a game-high 12 rebounds for her sixth double-double of the season.

Stina Almqvist put together a well-rounded stat line with 15 points, six rebounds and a career-high four blocks.
*Freshman
Mataya Gayle wrapped up the double-digit scoring for the Quakers with 12 points, while adding a game-high five assists.
*Off the bench, senior
Floor Toonders pulled down nine rebounds to go with three assists, two points and two blocked shots.
*The game had eight lead changes and four ties.
How It Happened
The Quakers held a lead for the entire first half and carried a six-point advantage into the locker room, 26-20.
However, the Big Red battled back in the third frame. By the 4:58 mark, the game was knotted up at 31-31, and eventually turned in favor of Cornell.
The Big Red pushed their lead to as much as eight points with 5:55 left in the game, but Penn didn't go away. Gayle kicked off a 17-2 run over a five-minute stretch to push the Quakers back out front by seven, 56-49, with 35 seconds left in the game. Gayle scored eight of the points in the run, while Obi and freshman
Ese Ogbevire each knocked in three-pointers.
In the closing seconds, the Quakers sealed the win as Obi, Almqvist, and sophomore
Saniah Caldwell combined to go 7-for-8 at the foul line.
