*The win over the Hoyas was the first in program history for the Quakers.
*Rubin led the offense with four goals off five shots while defender Peter Black scooped up a team-high three ground balls.

ABOUT THE HOYAS
*Georgetown is still looking for its first win of the year after starting the season 0-2, with the loss against Loyola Maryland (18-10) and Johns Hopkins (11-9).
*Jordan Wray leads the Hoyas in goals with five, while TJ Haley holds a team-high seven points.
*Defensively, Seamus Foley has caused two turnovers, while goalkeeper Anderson Moore has saved 19 shots and has allowed 29 goals.
QUAKER NOTEMEAL
*There are multiple fresh faces on the squad this season, with 13 freshmen and two transfers joining the team.
*Seven of the first-years on the squad were named in the top 50 of the Inside Lacrosse Power 100 Rankings, with attacker
Leo Hoffman leading the charge at #5.

Connell Kumar Mac Eldridge came to the City of Brotherly Love from the University of Virginia.

Brendan Lavelle was named an Inside Lacrosse and USA Lacrosse Preseason All-American heading into the season.
*Goalkeeper
Emmet Carroll was named to the 2024 Tewaaraton Award Watch List earlier this week. The award annually honors the top male and female college lacrosse players in the United States.
*Junior
Ben Smith looks to make an immediate impact on the Quaker offense, as he was second on the team in points (34) and goals (27) last season.
