PHILADELPHIA – The Ivy League announced its field hockey postseason honors on Wednesday, with
Meghan McGinley and
Julia Ryan of the University of Pennsylvania landing on the second team.

McGinley, a senior midfielder, is making her second appearance on an All-Ivy team, earning honorable mention in 2022. She started all 16 games for the Quakers this season, anchoring the Penn backline with two defensive saves. She was one of eight players in the Ivy with multiple defensive saves this season.
Ryan took a leap in her junior season after a Second Team All-Ivy selection last season. She led the Red and Blue and ranked top 10 in the Ivy with 18 points. Her six assists were tied for fourth-best in the conference. In addition, she scored six goals, becoming the first Quaker to record six-plus goals and assists in a season since Alexa Hoover in 2017.
Ryan earned Academic All-Ivy honors for her contributions on the field and in the classroom. She is currently enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences studying Philosophy, Politics & Economics with minors in Urban Real Estate & Development and Consumer Psychology
