How it Happened
The Quakers had a rough start offensively in the first half, not being able to put up any shots in the first 45. However, the back line of Leschly, Veenema and Ferraro did a great job not allowing any easy looks for Cornell. Goalkeeper Annabel Austen also had a great start, getting four saves in the first half.

The Quakers continued the defensive effort in the second half as Austen grabbed three more saves.

On the offensive side, all seven of the Quakers' shots came in the second half. It was Maltby who gave Stewart the excellent cross, which the senior slotted inside the far post for the game's only goal.
