PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania fencing programs opened the Elite Invite on a high note on Saturday afternoon in the Tse Center.
Penn had a stellar outing to open the invite, with both teams going 2-0 to end the first day. The #7 women topped LIU 21-6 and Cleveland State 18-9, and the #7 men edged out LIU 19-8 and Cleveland State 21-6.
