How it Happened
The first half action was filled with a bunch of stops from the Quakers. Princeton outshot Penn, 11-2, but Austen made six stops to close out the first half. Capdevila and Ferraro were the only Quakers to get shots in the first half.
Looking to turn the offense around in the second half, Capdevila and
Hailey Adamsky had two quick looks early for the Quakers.
Despite Penn's great defensive effort, Princeton's Lily Bryant scored what proved to be the winner off an assist from Drew Coomans.
Penn looked like it might have found an equalizer courtesy of
Abbey Cook, but the goal was disallowed on an offsides call.
