Sprint Football Brings Win Streak to Caldwell on Saturday

PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania sprint football team brings its four-game win streak on the road this weekend, heading to Caldwell on Saturday for a 4 p.m. matchup.

The Penn vs. Caldwell Series
*This is only the fifth matchup in program history, with the series dating back to 2017.
 
*The Quakers dominate in the all-time series, winning all four previous games.
 
*The last time these teams met in 2021, Penn topped the Cougars 40-10 at Franklin Field.

*Penn looks to continue its best start since the 2016 season this weekend after shutting Molloy put 49-0 last Friday at Franklin Field.
 
*After a career-high four-touchdown outing this past Friday night, running back Tom Rebstock earned CSFL Offensive Player of the Week, announced Monday afternoon.
 
*On top of Rebstock, Jason Sheairs, JT Goodman, Ben Lu, and Michael Malone scored once against Molloy to help push the Quakers to their first 4-0 start. 
 
*Malone places in the top five for completions (36) and passing yards (526) in the CSFL rankings. 
 
*Sophomore Goodman and senior Rebstock sit in the top 10 in the CSFL for rushing, with both tied for second for rushing touchdowns. 
 
*Adrian Montemayor had a stellar outing against the Lions, nailing a career-high seven extra-point kicks. The senior sits in the top ten of the CSFL in punting, extra-point kicks (18), and field goals (2).
 
*On the defensive end of the field, linebacker Cam Janock leads the charge with 3.5 sacks for 23 yards and 25 tackles, including 14 solo stops. In last week's battle with Molloy, the senior had seven tackles and a sack.  
 
*Senior Kyle Zeitlian leads the receiving pack with 141 yards and a touchdown this season. 
 
Scouting the Cougars 
*Caldwell is 2-2 on the season after wins against Molloy (48-0) and Mansfield (28-21). 
 
*The CSFL named quarterback Josh Smith Rookie of The Week for the second straight week on Monday. The freshman rushed for 144 yards, including a 75-yard touchdown, and passed for 135 yards against Army in Caldwell's most recent matchup. 
 
*Arjun Petgrave leads the team in receiving yards (253) while tallying four touchdowns.   
 
*Amajuwan Murray leads the Cougars defense with 34 solo stops.
