PHILADELPHIA – With the countdown to the 2024 season at less than 30 days away, Inside Lacrosse has released its Preseason Media Poll with the University of Pennsylvania men's lacrosse team ranked in the top 20.
Penn landed a spot at 19 the preseason poll after ending the 2023 campaign with a 7-6 recording, going 4-2 in Ivy League play, picking up four ranked wins against #8 Georgetown, #17 Saint Joseph's, #18 Princeton, and #20 Yale. The Quakers were ranked as high as #7 throughout the year.

Emmet Carroll will also be back in the starting rotation for the Red and Blue. Penn brings in 13 newcomers made up of seven of the top 50 freshmen named to Inside Lacrosse's Power 100 Rankings, as well as two transfers from the University of Virginia.
The Red and Blue open the 2024 season on Friday, Feb. 17, when the Georgetown Hoyas head to University City for a noon matchup at Franklin Field.
