WBB Battles Harvard on Saturday in a Weekend Road Bout

PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania women's basketball team is back in action on the road, traveling to Cambridge on Saturday for a 2:00 p.m. matchup with Harvard.

The Harvard Series
 • Saturday's game against Harvard is the 92nd in program history, with the Crimson holding a 37-54 lead in the all-time series.
  
 • The Red and Blue have the last time these two teams met; their longest winning streak was nine games starting in 2014.

Penn's Last Time Out

 • The Quakers secured their second Ivy League victory of the season against Cornell this past weekend, as they handled the Big Red 67-54. 
  
 • Stina Almqvist notched a career-high 26 points in the win, her sixth game with at least 20 points scored this season while recording her second straight double-double.
  
 • Obi racked up 14 points with nine rebounds and two blocks. 
  
 • Freshman Mataya Gayle finished with a game-high seven assists.
 
Lizzy Groetsch tallied a game-high two steals in the contest. 
 
• The Quakers held Cornell to zero 3-pointers during the contest. Cornell was 0-7 from deep and shot just 35 percent (22-63) from the field. 
 
Stat Leaders
 • Penn has three Quakers that rank in the top eight in the Ivy League in scoring: Almqvist in third (16.4), Gayle in sixth (14.4), and Obi in eighth (14.4).
  
 • Obi leads Penn and is second in the Ivy League in blocks with 24. She also leads Penn in rebounding at 7.6 boards per game, good enough for third in the league. 
• Outside of her other scoring rankings, first-year Gayle is tied for seventh in the league in steals (1.7).
  
 • Penn is fourth in points per game (67.7), fourth in field goal percentage (.419), and second in team free throw percentage (.744).
