Three From WLAX Garner USA Lacrosse Preseason All-America

PHILADELPHIA – February can't come soon enough. Junior midfielder Anna Brandt, senior attacker Niki Miles, and senior defender Izzy Rohr from the University of Pennsylvania women's lacrosse team earned USA Lacrosse Division I Women's Preseason All-America honors announced by the magazine on Wednesday afternoon.

Brandt and Rohr landed third team honors, while Miles was named honorable mention.

Brandt, the 2023 Ivy League Midfielder of the Year, scored 58 points, including 54 goals for Penn last year. The junior scooped up 27 ground balls and caused 18 turnovers to highlight her defensive efforts.

The 2023 Ivy League Attacker of the Year and Unanimous First Team All-Ivy, Miles, led the Quakers in points (78), goals (63), and turnovers (33). The senior ended last year as an Inside Lacrosse and USA Lacrosse Honorable Mentions All-American.

Rohr, last year's Ivy League Defender of the Year, started in all 19 games in 2023. The senior caused a team-high 25 turnovers and picked up 35 ground balls.

The Quakers open the 2024 campaign at home on Friday, Feb. 17, when University City foe Drexel heads to Franklin Field for a 3:30 p.m. battle.
