BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The University of Pennsylvania women's soccer team surrendered a first-half goal and never recovered, falling 1-0 to Lehigh Sunday afternoon at the Ulrich Sports Complex.
The Quakers sit 2-2-0 for the season, while the Mountain Hawks improve to 2-1-3, snapping a four-match winless streak.

Magali Capdevila led the way with two shots each, four of the team's eight total on the afternoon.

*The Mountain Hawks held an 11-8 edge in shots, including 7-3 on goal. Lehigh led the way in fouls, 11-2, while the Quakers were booked twice.
How It Happened
Lehigh had the match's first real chance of the contest just a minute in when Corinne Lyght went low left as
Laurence Gladu registered her first save of the day.
Lyght tried the same spot again in the eighth minute, once again knocked away by Gladu. The Quakers' first shot on goal occurred in the ninth minute when
Isobel Glass went low right, saved by Maggie Ousouljoglou.
Aminah Baruwa ended up being the early standout of the match for the Mountain Hawks, putting a shot on goal in the 30th minute and following through just five minutes later with her second-career goal to put Lehigh up, 1-0.
Penn's last shot attempt of the first half came in the 44th minute, as
Madison Liebman missed high.
After 45 minutes, Lehigh held a 6-4 advantage in shots with all five fouls tagged to the Mountain Hawks.
It took all the way until the 62nd minute of action for the Quakers to record their first shot on goal of the second half when
Magali Capdevila had a shot saved low center of the goal.
Gladu kept Lehigh out again in the 65th minute, saving Emma Roesing's chance while the offense didn't record a shot on goal again until the 81st, as
Mallory Lucas went low left, stopped by the goalie.
Mallory Lucas had the Red and Blue's final shot on goal opportunity of the match in the 81st minute, while Gladu stopped her sixth shot in the 87th to keep the score set at 1-0.
