BALTIMORE – The University of Pennsylvania men's soccer team's defense shut out its third opponent of the season but it turned out to be another scoreless draw Tuesday evening at Loyola (Md.) at the Ridley Athletic Complex.
The Quakers (2-2-2) were outshot, 13-9, by the Greyhounds (0-1-6) but tallied seven of their nine shots in the second half.

Nick Christoffersen recorded his third shutout of the season with three saves. He decreases his goals-against-average to 0.67 and now has a save percentage of .800.

Jack Wagoner—had shots on goal. Gaffney, Wagoner and Korzeniowski led the team with two shots each.

How It Happened
It was a slow first half for both sides, as the Quakers had just two total shots in through the first 45 minutes as
Michael Hewes put a chance out top in the 17th minute and
Jack Wagoner had a shot on target saved in the 42nd.
Nick Christoffersen made two first-half saves as the teams went into the locker room all squared at 0-0.
Stas Korzeniowski had Penn's first half chance of the second half in the 54th minute,
Leo Burney trying one himself just three minutes later.
Christoffersen made his third save of the match in the 71st minute. The two sides traded chances the rest of the way,
Charlie Gaffney putting a shot on target in the 89th minute, but the score remained deadlocked as the final whistle blew.
