WLAX Welcomes Northwestern Transfer Fleisher

PHILADELPHIA – Lois S. Leitner Head Coach Karin Corbett and the University of Pennsylvania women's lacrosse program are excited to announce an addition to their team for the upcoming season, welcoming transfer Carli Fleisher from Northwestern.

"Carli was someone we recruited back in 2020 as an attacker who could impact our team," Corbett said. "She is a dynamic player with incredible creativity, vision, and skill. We are very excited to add a player of Carli's caliber to our team."

Fleisher played in 13 games for the Wildcats that advanced to the 2023 national championship, concluding the year with a 21-1 record. She finished her freshman season with six points on two goals and four assists, opening her collegiate career against Notre Dame where she found the back of the net for the first time. In her next outing against Marquette, she notched her first assist.

A Parkland, Florida native, she played for American Heritage High School where she was named USA Lacrosse National High School Player of the Year and an All-American. She added plenty of other accolades to her high school career including Palm Beach Player of the Year, a first-team honoree by the Sun Sentinel and Miami Herald, and participated in the All-America Senior Games.

Competing for her club Florida Select, she helped them become the top-ranked team by Inside Lacrosse and USA Lacrosse.
