PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – The University of Pennsylvania women's golf team held its seed for another day at the NCAA Regional. The 11th-seeded Quakers shot 306 for the second straight day and are at 36-over-par 612 heading into Wednesday's final round on the par-72 Champion course at the PGA National Resort.

Michigan State continues to hold the overall team lead, the Spartans shooting 296 on Tuesday to finish the day at 5-over-par 581 through two rounds. That's three shots ahead of Northwestern, which had a team-low 284 on Tuesday and moved up six spots into second at 8-over-par 584. Duke is third with a two-round 588, while USF and Texas make up the rest of the top five as they are both at 589 through two rounds.
 
Freshman Julie Shin was Penn's low scorer on Tuesday, carding a 1-over-par 73 which left her at 6-over-par 150 through two rounds. That has her tied for 30th in a field of 66 golfers entering the final round. Shin had a solid day, earning a birdie on her ninth hole of the day and staying under par overall until her 14th hole where she double bogeyed a par 3. The freshman kept her poise, though, and shot even par over the last four holes to finish her day.
 
Senior Selina Li shot a 77 on Tuesday and is one shot behind Shin, at 7-over-par 151, while freshman Bridget O'Keefe and sophomore Natalie Cao both shot 78s on Tuesday to score for the Quakers. O'Keefe has a 155 score through two rounds while Cao is at 159. Senior Susan Xiao is one shot behind Cao overall, at 160.
 
A deeper dive into the stats shows Shin tied for fourth in total pars (26) and tied for seventh in par-4 scoring (+2), while both Xiao and Li are among a group tied for tenth in par-5 scoring (-2),
