PHILADELPHIA – Inside Lacrosse announced its media All-Americans on Wednesday morning, with University of Pennsylvania seniors
Sam Handley and
Piper Bond appearing on the list.

Handley earned first-team honors for the third time while Bond got on the third team, recognized by
Inside Lacrosse for the second consecutive season.

Handley led Penn's offense this season, securing a team-high 55 points, 30 goals and 25 assists. He tallied three game-winning goals, two of which came in overtime, leading the Quakers back to the Ivy League Tournament. Handley ends his college career with the fourth-most points in program history (194), tallying the fifth-most assists (90) and sixth-most goals (104) as well. A semifinalist for the Tewaaraton Award in 2023, Handley was drafted fourth overall by Chrome Lacrosse Club in last Tuesday's PLL Draft. The Portland, Ore. native ended his Penn career a three-time unanimous first-team All-Ivy selection.

Bond has enjoyed tremendous success on both sides of the ball, ending his college career as one of the best SSDMs in program history. A first-team All-Ivy selection for the second straight year, Bond finished tied for second on the team with 33 ground balls, the most among non-FOGOs, adding seven caused turnovers. He scored a goal against Duke in the home opener and was named the Quakers' Academic All-Ivy representative. The Baltimore, Md. native was selected with the 21st overall pick in the PLL Draft by Archers Lacrosse Club.

Penn ended its season with a 7-6 overall record, finishing tied for second place during the Ivy League regular season. The Quakers fell, 9-8, to eventual champion Princeton in the ILT semifinals to conclude the year.
