ITHACA, N.Y – The University of Pennsylvania softball team closed out its season on Sunday with a 3-1 loss at Cornell.
Dana Anderson drove in the lone Quaker run.

Penn jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the top of the first as
Dana Anderson's two-out base hit drove in
Sarah Schneider.
Bella Fiorentino pitched three scoreless innings to open the game and keep the lead in the Quakers' favor.
Cornell got to Fiorentino in the bottom of the fourth as Lauren Holt belted her eighth homer of the season to tie the game at 1-1.
The Big Red took the lead in the bottom of the of the sixth with a two-out bases loaded RBI base hit scoring two runs.
QUAKER NOTEMEAL
- Brianna Brown ended the season with 20 stolen bases and finishes in a tie with Leah Allen (2017) for the single season program record.
