TEMPE, Ariz. – The University of Pennsylvania women's tennis team closed out its trip out west with a 6-1 loss at #27 Arizona State on Saturday afternoon. The Quakers lone win on the day was a win #1 singles by
Sabine Rutlauka.
Arizona State used a pair of 6-2 doubles wins to earn the doubles point.
Rutlauka improved to 9-0 on the season with a two-set victory at #1 singles. The Quakers fell in straight sets at #2, #3, #4, and #6 singles.
Iris Gallo won the first set 7-6 but fell in the next two sets as ASU won the match, 6-1.
