Scouting the opponent
Cornell closed out January with back-to-back wins at Army and Columbia. The Big Red picked up all the team points they needed as they jumped out to a 13-0 lead before Army posted back-to-back wins at 149 and 157 to cut the Cornell lead to 13-6. Over the final five bouts, the Big Red used three decisions and a fall at 285 to take the dual 27-12. Cornell made easy work of Columbia winning nine straight bouts to open the dual. The Big Red earned major decision wins at 133, 149, and 174 as they improved to 5-0 in EIWA contests defeating the Lions, 30-3. Cornell is set to host a noon dual against Princeton on Saturday prior to its dual with Penn on Sunday.
