HANOVER, N.H. – The University of Pennsylvania women's basketball team rolled to a 54-37 victory on Saturday afternoon at Dartmouth, earning its ninth win of the Ivy League season.

With the win and last night's Harvard loss to Princeton (51-47), Penn sits alone at No. 3 in the standings at 9-4.

Kayla Padilla led all scorers with 23 points on 8-for-19 shooting, 5-for-10 from beyond the arc. It's her third straight game with five three-pointers and extends her three-point streak to 20 games.

*She is now one three-pointer away from tying the single-season record held by Mandy West with 77 back in 1999-00. If she lands the record, she will own the three-point trifecta in program history, already sitting atop the single-game (9) and career (205).

*Additionally, her 23 points shifted her into seventh in program history in all-time scoring. With 1,297 career points in 73 games, she bypasses Dionne Anthon (1988-92) who finished her career with 1,293. To get to sixth, she'll need to catch 2016 Ivy League Player of the Year and two-time Defensive Player of the Year, Sydney Stipanovich (2013-17), concluding her career with 1,386 points.

Jordan Obi also reached double figures with 11 points on .500 percent shooting (4-for-8). She added four rebounds, two assists, and two steals.

Floor Toonders was a big contributor in different areas of the court, pulling in a game-high 11 rebounds to go with a career- and game-high six assists. With another two blocks on Saturday, she separates herself as the comfortable league leader in the category with 30 for the season. The next closest is 26 from Brown's Gianna Aiello.

Sydnei Caldwell and
Silke Milliman combined for 13 points on 5-for-11 shooting, while Milliman added six rebounds and Caldwell had two steals and two blocks.

How It Happened
A tight first quarter saw three lead changes in the favor of the Big Green by the end of the frame, 12-11. However, Caldwell knocked in a jumper at the 9:37 mark of the second to put Penn out ahead for the rest of the game. The bucket ignited a 14-0 run for the Quakers.

Mandy McGurk added a layup, and Padilla connected on a three to push the first double-digit lead, 23-12. The run was capped off by Milliman on a layup at the 5:51 mark.

Penn carried a 29-14 lead to the locker room after Padilla knocked in back-to-back jumpers in the closing 30 seconds including a buzzer beater.

The third saw Padilla connect on two more three-pointers within the first four minutes, and Milliman added two more layups to push the advantage to 21 by the 3:45 mark. With three minutes left in the frame, Caldwell landed the and-one and her free throw gave Penn its largest lead of the game at 42-20.

In the fourth, the Big Green narrowly won the final 10 minutes, 11-9, but the Quakers held their distance to bring home the 17-point victory.
