PHILADELPHIA – James H. Greene, Jr. Head Coach
Mike Murphy, and the University of Pennsylvania men's lacrosse team announced their 2024 schedule on Wednesday afternoon.
The 13-game regular season is highlighted by seven matchups in University City, with six being played at Franklin Field and one at Penn Park.
The new season kicks off with a three-game homestand at Franklin Field, with Penn hosting Georgetown (Feb. 17), UAlbany (Feb. 20), and Delaware (Feb. 24). The Quakers hit the road for back-to-back ACC battles to open the month of March, heading to Murphy's alma mater Duke (March 1), playing in Durham for the first time since 2019. The road trip wraps up in Chapel Hill with the first matchup against North Carolina dating back to the 2012 season when Penn won 10-6 at home.
The Quakers stay on the road but in familiar territory, heading on the Main Line to Villanova on March 9 before opening Ivy League play against Brown at home on March 16. Philly 4 competition concludes against Saint Joseph's at home on March 19.
The Red and Blue return to league contests with a New England road bout to Dartmouth (March 23) and Yale (April 6), with Penn playing at home once between the two-game trip, welcoming Cornell on March 30.
Penn hosts the Harvard Crimson for Senior Day on April 13, ahead of closing out the regular season at Princeton (April 20).
The top team in the conference will host the Ivy League Championship in May, with the Quakers hoping to host in University City. The semifinals are slated for May 3, and the final on May 5.
