PHILADELPHIA - The University of Pennsylvania men's basketball team will face La Salle in Saturday's Big 5 Classic at the Wells Fargo Center, the Quakers and Explorers tipping off in the second game of the tripleheader at 4:45 p.m.

Saturday's schedule is as follows...
2 p.m. (fifth-place game): Villanova vs. Drexel
4:45 p.m. (third-place game): Penn vs. La Salle
7:30 p.m. (championship game): Saint Joseph's vs. Temple

The Big 5 Classic matchups were set up after two tremendous games to close out pod play on Wednesday night. the Hawks earned their spot into the championship game by going to Villanova's Finneran Pavilion and knocking off the 18th-ranked Wildcats, 78-65. The night ended in spectacular fashion, Temple and La Salle needing three overtimes to settle matters before the Owls prevailed at the Liacouras Center, 106-99.
