Ivy League 2023 All-Ivy Release
This is Fontenot's first time earning first-team All-Ivy recognition, after she earned second-team honors in 2022.
Fontenot played the fifth-most minutes on the team, starting all 13 matches in which she took the field this season. She helped anchor a back line that limited opposing teams to one or fewer goals in 14-of-16 matches. Fontenot also led a defense that gave up the third fewest goals in the Ivy League, allowing only 0.81 goals per game. Fontenot recorded four shots this year, including three in Penn's match at Temple on September 17 with two of them being on target.
