Jang's Kick Nets Ivy Special Teams Player of the Week Honor

PHILADELPHIA – On Saturday, junior kicker Albert Jang made history. On Monday, he was rewarded by being named Ivy League Special Teams Player of the Week.

Jang booted a 51-yard field goal to send Penn to overtime against Dartmouth on Saturday, the first field goal make of his career. It also happened to be tied for the third-longest field goal in Quaker history.

In addition, the Duluth, Ga. native averaged 43.3 yards on his three punt attempts.

Jang earned Penn's second consecutive weekly honor after Jared Richardson was named Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week following an outstanding performance at Bucknell.

Jack Fairman, Malachi Hosley and Aidan Sayin all earned honorable mention nods.

Penn hosts Georgetown Saturday in the final non-conference game of the season at Franklin Field, with kickoff set for 1 p.m.
