The Spartan Series
STAC leads the Quakers, 1-0 in the all-time series. The two teams' relationship is fresh, only meeting for the first time in 2022. The contest was close and hard-fought as the Quakers fell in a one-possession game, 21-17.
Â
Put It Behind Us
The Quakers came up short in a tough matchup on the road against the undefeated Army Black Knights, who lost in the CSFL Championship last season. Junior linebacker
Jake Inserra led the defense with 10 total tackles (six solos), 1.5 TFLs, and an interception. Penn set a season-high of 10 TFLs for 61 yards, tied its season high for sacks with four for 32 yards, and had a season-high forced fumbles with two.

Opponent Insight
The Spartans are 2-1 so far this year and are currently on a two-game win streak, beating Caldwell and Chestnut Hill. Their main threat is their pass game, averaging 250+ yards per game (375 total yards per game), with their top two receivers, Nyir Jones and Phillip Meikle, averaging 60+ yards per game. Though their offense is the primary factor for victories this season, their defense is barely holding on, giving up 323 total yards per game and allowing an average of 24 points per game.

Year Three
