The Series with Cornell
*The Quakers and the Big Red are meeting for the 237th time in men's basketball. Penn holds a 161-75 lead in the all-time series.

*Penn has won five in a row in the series and 16 of the last 17 dating back to the 2012-13 season. In his six seasons as the Quakers' head coach, Steve Donahue is 11-1 against the Big Red (whom he coached from 2001-10).

*Penn won the first meeting last season at The Palestra, 79-65, in a game that was closer than the score would indicate. Clark Slajchert had 19 points to lead the Quakers, while Jordan Dingle added 17.

*The last meeting at Newman came on February 5, Penn escaping with a 73-68 victory. Dingle led the Red and Blue with 19 points, while Max Martz matched his season high with 16 and Andrew Laczkowski scored 10.

The Series with Columbia
* The Quakers and the Lions are meeting for the 240th time, with Penn holding a 146-93 lead in the overall series.

*Penn has won three of the last four and six of the last eight meetings between these programs. That includes a split of last year's series when the road team won both times.

*Columbia knocked off the Quakers almost exactly a year ago at The Palestra, 73-69. George Smith and Max Martz led Penn offensively, with 14 points apiece, while Clark Slajchert added 11.

*Penn returned the favor nearly a month later at Levien, taking an 81-66 decision. Jordan Dingle led all scorers with 23 points, while Martz scored 16. Andrew Laczkowski proved to be the revelation, scoring 12 points and adding four offensive rebounds.

Rare Jordan
Junior guard Jordan Dingle has been putting up historic numbers this season...

*His 23.8 points-per-game average is third nationally, behind only UAB's Jordan Walker (25.2 ppg) and Detroit Mercy's Antoine Davis (24.6).

*He has scored at least 20 points in his last 11 appearances (25.0 ppg in that stretch); the last Penn player to do that was Ernie Beck, who started his senior season (1952-53) with 16 such games.

*He has reached double figures in 22 straight games, the eighth-longest streak in program history; Zack Rosen is seventh, with 24 such games.

*He scored 120 points across Penn's four Big 5 games—28 vs. SJU, 37 vs. La Salle, 25 at Villanova, 30 vs. Temple—a Big 5 record for a single season; the previous mark of 116 was set by SJU's Cliff Anderson way back in 1966-67.

Penn MBB By the Numbers
1 - Games Penn has played against NCAA Division 1 competition since December 10; that was Monday, when the Quakers opened Ivy League play with a 76-68 win at Brown.

2 - Ivy League Players of the Week this season for Penn, after junior guard Clark Slajchert was honored on Tuesday following his 31-point game at Brown on Monday night; junior guard Jordan Dingle was honored three straight weeks prior to the holidays.

2 - Ivy League players who were named to the Lou Henson Award Watch List by CollegeInsider.com on November 22: Princeton's Tosan Evbuomwan and Dingle. The Henson Award is presented to the country's top mid-major player.

2 - Wins head coach Steve Donahue has this season against former Cornell assistants of his, Drexel's Zach Spiker (64-59) and Wilkes' Izzi Metz (93-61).

9 - Starting lineups used by Penn this season, through 15 games; the only player who has started every game he played is Clark Slajchert.

9 - Rebounds grabbed by Laczkowski against Temple, a career high; five of them came on the offensive glass.

10 - Penn players with a double-figure scoring game this season, after freshman Cam Thrower hit for 13 points against Wilkes; the Quakers have had at least 10 players with a double-digit scoring game in five of Coach Donahue's seven seasons, after doing it just eight times from 1951-2015.

10 - Rebound secured by sophomore Nick Spinoso in Penn's win Monday at Brown; he had his first collegiate double-double by adding 10 points.

11 - Assists dished out by Spinoso against Saint Joseph's on November 30, most by a Penn player in the Donahue coaching era.

12.2 - Scoring average for junior Max Martz over his last ten games (he missed the 11/30 Saint Joseph's game due to illness); Martz has hit double digits seven times in that run, scored nine points in two other contests, and had eight Monday at Brown.

16 - Rebounds by senior Lucas Monroe against Saint Joseph's; that is tied for the most by a Penn player in the Donahue era (AJ Brodeur at Cornell, 2/1/19; Darien Nelson-Henry vs. Cornell, 2/13/16).

19 - Points scored by junior Andrew Laczkowski over Penn's last four games, after he went scoreless across the Quakers' first 11 games this season (including eight DNPs).

23.8 - Dingle's scoring average, good for third nationally behind only UAB's Jordan Walker (25.2 ppg) and Detroit Mercy's Antoine Davis (24.6).

26 - Penn's disparity in scoring from the first half (25 points) to the second (51) Monday at Brown; the Quakers have scored 51 second-half points in each of their last two games against D1 foes.

39 - Combined second-half points by Slajchert (21) and Dingle (18) Monday at Brown.

41.8 - Combined scoring average of Dingle (23.8 ppg) and Slajchert (18.0) after they combined for 51 at Brown on Monday (Slajchert 31, Dingle 20); they are the highest-scoring backcourt at the NCAA Division 1 level.

51.9 - Penn's field-goal percentage at Brown on Monday (27-52), the third time this season the Quakers have shot better than 50 percent in a game.

57 - Games Dingle needed to reach 1,000 points for his career (he reached the mark 11/25 vs. Hartford); only three players reached 1,000 points faster than Dingle, and all of them started their varsity careers as sophomores: Ernie Beck (50 games), Keven McDonald (50), and Stan Pawlak (52). Ron Haigler and Joe Sturgis hit the mark in Game 58.

62 - Second-half points scored by Dingle in his last three appearances, out of 75 total (23 of 25 at Villanova on 12/7, 21 of 30 vs. Temple on 12/10, 18 of 20 at Brown on Monday).

103 - Wins at Penn for head coach Steve Donahue; he became the seventh of Penn's 20 head men's basketball coaches to hit triple digits in the win column when the Quakers defeated Delaware on November 27, 86-73.
