PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania head women's basketball coach,
Mike McLaughlin, has announced the addition of Floor Toonders to the Quakers' roster for the 2022-23 season. Toonders come to Penn after playing at the University of Florida the past two years and will have two years of eligibility with the Quakers.
"I am very excited to welcome Floor to the Penn Women's Basketball program," McLaughlin said about the incoming 6-4 forward. "She adds tremendous size and versatility to our post player position combined with high-level experience both during her time here in the United States as well as with her national team back home in the Netherlands. I can't wait to get Floor on campus in August!"

Prior to Florida: Earned a four-star rank from Blue Star Europe … Played for the Netherlands in the 2019 FIBA U18 Women's European Championships, averaging 7.6 points, 5.8 rebounds in 24 minutes … Also represented her home country in the FIBA 3x3 U18 Europe Cup … One of youngest players on her Division 3 Orange Lions squad in Holland, competing in one of the country's premier leagues … Helped guide her U20 team to the EGBL Finals in 2019 and was named to the all-star team.
