WEST WINDSOR, N.J. – The University of Pennsylvania men's lightweight crew completed the second day of racing at the IRA National Championships. The Quakers are rowing two Eights and a Four on Mercer Lake this weekend, with only the Four in action on Saturday.
Varsity Four
Penn raced in the Petite Final on Saturday morning and took sixth in the race, clocking 6:51.752. Yale (6:40.796) was the winner, followed by Georgetown (6:42.828) which just nipped ahead of Princeton (6:42.892) at the finish line for second place. MIT was fourth in 6:47.902 while FIT was fifth in 6:50.014.
