PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania women's tennis team hits the road this weekend for a pair of Ivy matches. The weekend will open with a 1 p.m. match at Brown on Saturday and the weekend will conclude in New Haven, Conn. with a 1 p.m. match at Yale on Sunday.

The Quakers will face the bears for the second time this season. Penn defeated Brown in the opening round of the 2022 ECAC Championships with 4-2 win. The Red and Blue are coming off a 4-0 Ivy opening loss at Princeton last weekend. Penn battled a tough opponent as two of the three flights that went unfinished were in the third set.
Brown and Yale faced off last weekend in New Haven with the Bulldogs taking the 4-1 decision. Yale won the doubles point taking wins at No. 1 and 3. The Bulldogs clinched the match with win at No. 1, 2, and 5. Brown's lone point came from a two-set victory at No. 3.
