PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania women's tennis team picked up its third Ivy victory on Saturday afternoon at the Hamlin Tennis Center. The Red and Blue defeated Dartmouth, 4-0. Penn improved to 3-1 in Ivy play and 13-8 overall in 2022.
Penn got the early lead for the doubles point as
Amanda Chan and Katerina Vinnik earned a 6-3 win on court three.
Eileen Wang and
Sabine Rutlauka clinched the doubles point for Penn with a 6-2 win on court two.
Iuliia Bryzgalova gave Penn a 2-0 as she won 6-2 and 6-0.
Gavriella Smith put Penn up 3-0 as won in straight sets, 6-4 and 6-2. Rutlauka won in straight sets, 7-5 and 6-3 to clinch the match point for the Quakers.
