Men's Tennis Remains Unbeaten in Ivy League With 6-1 Win Over Dartmouth

PHILADELPHIA – The No. 42 University of Pennsylvania men's tennis team remained unbeaten in Ivy League play with its eighth straight victory, a 6-1 win over Dartmouth on Saturday in Hanover, N.H.

A 6-1 win for the No. 3 team of Aditya Gupta/Harsh Parikh and a 6-3 win for the No. 1 team of Edoardo Graziani/Kevin Zhu gave Penn the early doubles point.

In singles action, the Quakers quickly put the Big Green away, starting with Gupta picking up the first of four straight-set wins on the day playing out of the third spot in the lineup; Zhu and Graziani added two more straight-set wins at #4 and #1 to clinch the match for the Quakers.

Harsh Parikh added a win at #5 due to opponent retirement and Jason Hildebrandt picked up Penn's final win of the day at #2; Dartmouth picked up their lone point of the day with a three-set win in the final match of the afternoon.

Up Next
The Quakers face-off tomorrow at 1 p.m. with the only other unbeaten team in Ivy League play, No. 13 Harvard, in a match that will go a long way in determining this season's conference champion.
