PHILADELPHIA- The Intercollegiate Tennis Association released their new rankings Tuesday as the fall season ended, with the University of Pennsylvania earning two spots on the polls. Senior
Manfredi Graziani and junior
Aaron Sandler came in as the #8 ranked doubles team in the country, with Graziani also earning a singles rank of #41.
The fall season of Graziani and Sandler is well-documented, with the pair earning the first All-American honors and Final Four appearance in program history. Rising from #67 to #8, the duo went 11-3 with multiple Top 100 wins this year and will enter the winter as a premier pairing.
Senior Graziani as a solo performer also improved his ranking greatly. Moving from #117 to #41, Graziani went 8-3 in solo play this year, winning five in a row between September and October and making multiple deep runs in ITA tournaments.
The pair will take these new rankings into the new year as they begin match play
