Men's Tennis Wraps Non-Conference Play With 6-1 Win Over Georgetown

PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania men's tennis team defeated Georgetown on Sunday afternoon at the Hamlin Tennis Center. Penn swept the doubles point and won five of the six singles courts for a 6-1 victory.

The Red and Blue took the early doubles point, as Zach Smith and Jason Hildebrandt won 6-2 at #2, and Aditya Gupta and Harsh Parikh earned the 6-1 win at #3 to earn the early lead for Penn.

In singles action, Kevin Zhu picked up a straight-set win at #1 in just his second match at the top spot this Spring. Baylor Sai picked up a straight-set win playing out of the #3 spot for the first time this Spring. Zach Smith picked up a three-set win in his first singles match in more than a month. Zachery Lim added a straight-set win out of the five position and Jonah Jurick picked up a three-set win at #6.
