The last matchup was on February 29, 2020, when Penn posted an 11-5 win, getting goals from seven different players including a hat trick from Erin Barry. Yale finished that Leap Day game with slight advantages in shots (32-31) and shots on goal (23-22), but Krissy Kowalski and Kelly Van Hoesen combined for 18 saves in the win. Barry was joined on the scoresheet by fellow multi-point scorers Zoe Belodeau (two goals, one assist), Gabby Rosenzweig (one goal, one assist), Michaela McMahon (two goals), and Caitlin Cook (one goal, one assist).

About Yale
The Bulldogs enter Saturday on a two-game losing streak after starting the season 4-0, including an Ivy road win over Dartmouth, 12-9, back on March 5. Additional wins have come over Sacred Heart (15-4), Albany (16-14), and Quinnipiac (13-12). The Bulldogs have the second-most woman-up goals per game in the conference, averaging nearly one a game; they're also one of just two teams in the conference to score a women-down goal this season. Yale is top three in the conference in goals per game (12.5, 3rd), turnovers per game (14.17, 2nd), and draw controls per game (14.50, 3rd). Olivia Markert is second in the conference in goals per game (2.83) and fourth in points per game (3.17), while Olivia Penoyer is averaging 3.00 points per game, good for seventh.

Niki Miles had a hat trick and Maria Themelis finished with two goals and an assist. Kennon Moon finished with five of Penn's 15 draw controls and Grace Fujinaga finished with three of the Quakers' 11 caused turnovers.
