Penn-Georgetown Series
The Quakers and Hoyas are meeting for the 10th time in program history, with Penn holding the 7-2 lead in the series. Dating to 2012, the Quakers have never lost to Georgetown at Cooper Field, boasting a 3-0 record. The two losses came in the first meeting back in 2012 at Franklin Field, 9-11, and in 2019 for the first round of the NCAA tournament at Syracuse. That was the second time in 2019 they played each other, with the Quakers taking the 8-7 win in the regular season. In Syracuse, the two teams battled through two overtimes, but the Hoyas edged out the 13-12 decision.

Last Time We Met
The last matchup was during the pandemic-shortened season in 2020 in D.C., as the Quakers throttled past the Hoyas, 17-6. Penn opened the game with seven-straight goals and ended it with eight more. Gabby Rosenzweig and Erin Barry led the charge offensively, combining for 14 points. Rosenzweig scored three times and assisted on five more goals. Abby Bosco had a stellar game on the defensive end, setting career highs in caused turnovers and ground balls with six each. Back in net, Krissy Kowalski made 12 saves for the victory.

About Georgetown
The Hoyas are 4-3 entering Saturday's game, coming off a pair of victories within the D.C. Beltway. Last Saturday, they plowed through George Washington, 19-3, at Cooper Field before carrying that momentum into a 21-5 victory at George Mason on Wednesday. Outscoring their opponents, 108-71, this season, the Hoyas are led by Ali Diamond with 21 points off 14 goals and seven assists. Georgetown has eight players with double-digit points. The backline is commanded by Melissa Massimino who has 12 caused turnovers, while Emily Gaven has put in over 400 minutes between the pipes this year for 47 saves.

Penn's Last Time Out
The Quakers had split their two games last week, defeating #24 Drexel, 9-8, before falling at #7 Duke on Sunday, 21-10. The Blue Devils, who have the top scoring offense in the country with over 20 goals per game, hit an 8-0 stretch in the fourth quarter to pull away from what was a tight battle for 45 minutes. Four Quakers scored two goals each in the contest: Anna Brandt, Aly Feeley, Kaitlyn Cumiskey, and Kennon Moon. Feeley led the offense with three points, adding an assist. Moon's two goals continues her offensive streak this season, remaining the only Quaker to score in every game this year.
