Quaker Notemeal
*Four Quakers each scored two goals in the game: Anna Brandt, Aly Feeley, Kaitlyn Cumiskey, and Kennon Moon. Feeley led the offense with three points, adding an assist to her stat line.

*Moon's two goals continues her offensive streak this season, the only Quaker to score in every game this year.

*The Blue Devils won the draw game, 23-12, but Penn kept it much tighter in the first half with Duke taking a slim 7-6 edge at the break.

*The Quakers forced Duke into 16 turnovers, its second highest turnover count this season.

*Krissy Kowalski tended the net for over 56 minutes of the game, making eight saves. Kelly Van Hoesen finished out the remaining four minutes, registering one save.

How It Happened
A close first half had the Quakers on the board first less than a minute off the first draw when Cumiskey went unassisted for the finish. By the midway mark of the first quarter, Duke added two goals while Niki Miles split them with an unassisted goal of her own.

Before the end of the first, Feeley put away both of her goals within a minute of one another to give Penn a 4-2 lead at the break. Feeley currently leads the team in goals this season with 10.

The Blue Devils bounced back in the second, scoring four-straight goals for a 6-4 lead. However, Brandt ended the scoring drought for the Quakers, catching a pass from Natasha Gorriaran to cut the deficit to one at the half, 8-7.

Out of the break, Duke scored the first five goals to take a commanding 11-5 advantage. Penn didn't go away though, closing the gap to three early in the fourth quarter with goals by four different Quakers. Cumiskey scored the last goal to move the game to 13-10.

Unfortunately, that's as close as Penn would get to the high-powered Duke offense, who leads the country in scoring, as the Blue Devils added eight goals in the fourth quarter to take the 21-10 decision.

Up Next
The Quakers continue their five-game road trip on Saturday, traveling to the nation's capital for a tilt at Georgetown. Start time is set for 3 p.m.
