Penn-Duke Series
The Quakers and Blue Devils are meeting for the 12th time in program history, with Penn holding the 6-5 edge in the series. Penn has won the last three matchups, two of which were at Franklin Field. The last time we battled in Durham in 2018, the Quakers earned a 15-11 victory to open the season 13-0, the best start to a season since the 2009 team that reached the Final Four.

Last Time We Met
The last matchup was in 2019 at Franklin Field, as the Quakers fended off a late charge by the Blue Devils to take a 10-9 win. Duke came back from a two-goal deficit midway through the second half to tie the game at 9-9 with 5 minutes remaining in regulation. Just 30 seconds later, the Quakers silenced the run with the game-winning goal as Taylyn Stadler found Zoe Belodeau for the finish. Gabby Rosenzweig led the game in points with five, scoring a goal and sending out four assists. Lauren O'Mara was key on defense, caused three caused turnovers to go with five ground balls.

About Duke
The Blue Devils have pieced together a successful start to the season, entering Sunday with a 7-1 record and a perfect 4-0 tally at Koskinen Stadium. Their lone loss of the year was in their ACC opener at No. 3 Syracus last Sunday, falling 18-16. Duke's most recent outing was at home against Pittsburgh, gutting out a 15-14 victory with the game-winning goal coming with 1:51 remaining in the game by Catriona Barry. Barry has been a force on offense all season, ranking second in the nation in points per game (6.38), totaling 52 on 36 goals and 16 assists through just eight games. She is closely followed by Katie DeSimone with 42 points on 27 goals and 15 assists. Duke currently leads the country in scoring offense (20.25 goals per game) and scoring margin (11.38).

Penn's Last Time Out
The Quakers defeated No. 24 Drexel on Wednesday in a city showdown at Vidas Field, scoring four-consecutive goals in the fourth quarter to take the 9-8 decision. It was Penn's first road game of the season, moving the all-time record against the Dragons to 15-2. Anna Brandt registered her first career hat trick, scoring two of her three goals in the fourth-quarter comeback. Keeley Block had two goals, both in the fourth, including the game-tying finish with 10:34 remaining. Kelly Van Hoesen and Krissy Kowalski split time in the net. Kowalski earned the win for her final 30 minutes in the game, making seven saves including two in the closing two minutes to keep the Dragons from sending the game to extra time.
