No. 9 Women's Squash Drops Regular Season Road Finale to No. 3 Princeton, 7-2

PRINCETON, N.J. – The ninth-ranked University of Pennsylvania women's squash team dropped an Ivy League matchup with No. 3 Princeton Saturday afternoon, 7-2, from Jadwin Gymnasium.

Avni Anand moved to 10-2 on the season and 4-1 in Ivy League play with a five-game victory, rallying from 2-1 down in a match that saw all five games end 11-6 or closer. Navmi Sharma pulled off a furious rally of her own in a five-game win, dropping the first two games before roaring back, capping the comeback with a dominant 11-4 win in the fifth.

Elsewhere, Jamila Abou El Enin and Amina Abou El Enin each took the second game and Emma Wolf took the third game of their respective four-game matches. The Quakers wrap the regular season tomorrow afternoon with a 12 p.m. match against #8 Cornell from the Penn Squash Center.
