Penn-Johns Hopkins Series
The Quakers are meeting the Blue Jays for the 15th time in program history on Saturday, owning an 8-6 edge in the series. Penn is riding a four-game win streak against JHU, winning eight of the last nine meetings. The Quakers have not lost to Hopkins at Franklin Field since 2006 when the Blue Jays edged out Penn, 12-9.

Last Time We Met
The last time the two teams clashed was at Franklin Field right before the pandemic on March 22, 2020. A 15-12 victory for the Quakers was highlighted by Gabby Rosenzweig becoming the program's all-time career points leader. She posted a goal and four assists to bump her to 238 career points at the conclusion of the game. Penn controlled the draw game, 17-11, behind Chelsea Kibler's 10. Besides the five-point effort by Rosenzweig, Caitlin Cook pieced together a four-goal performance on just five shots.

About Johns Hopkins
The Blue Jays are entering Saturday's matchup with a 1-1 record, recently falling to then-#9 Loyola at home, 14-5. Hopkins had an early 3-1 lead over the Greyhounds, but Loyola responded with a 13-2 run to close out the final three quarters to secure the decision. Offensively, JHU is led by Georgia Esmond through the first two games with seven points on three goals and four assists. Shelby Harrison and Charlotte Smith lead the team in scoring with four goals each. Defensively, Annika Meyer has caused six turnovers in both her starts this year, also leading the team with seven ground balls. Kathleen Garvey has started both games between the pipes, making 14 saves but giving up 19 goals on a .424 save percentage.

Penn's Last Time Out
The Quakers scored early and often in their season opener last Saturday against Delaware, taking a 15-4 victory. It was the eighth-straight win against the Blue Hens, and the program's ninth-straight year winning the season opener. Kaitlyn Cumiskey led the offense with four points on a three goals and assist, while Aly Feeley added a hat trick of goals as well. Cumiskey was a critical piece defensively, leading the team in caused turnovers (3) and ground balls (4). Krissy Kowalski played all 60 minutes in the net, making 10 saves for her first win of the season.
