Penn-Cornell Series
Penn and Cornell are meeting for the 85th time in the all-time series, as the Quakers maintain a 63-21 advantage. Head coach Mike McLaughlin has proved successful against the Big Red during his tenure, riding a nine-game win streak and a record of 16-7 since 2010. The Quakers currently have a 19-12 record against Cornell in Newman Arena, dating to 1990 in the first match in the facility.

Last Time We Met
The two squads clashed in The Palestra on February 5 with the Quakers taking a 71-61 victory. Penn had four complete quarters including a fourth that was nearly perfect in terms of scoring, going 6-for-6 from the floor with two threes while knocking in 3-for-4 at the free throw line. Junior Kayla Padilla led all scorers with 18 points and added six assists, six rebounds, two steals, and a block. Sophomore Jordan Obi recorded her fourth double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds, while senior Kennedy Suttle had a career-high five steals to go with eight points and seven boards.

About Cornell
The Big Red are coming off a big win on Saturday over Harvard, 52-49, just the 14th time in series history they beat the Crimson. Leading the team this season is Theresa Grace Mbanefo, averaging 11.7 points and 7.8 rebounds per game, while shooting at a .486 clip, the second-best mark in the Ivy League. Her 7.8 rebounds sit fifth in the league, and 1.7 blocks ranks second. The Big Red rank third in the league in defensive rebounds (36.3 per game), and third in offensive rebounds (14.2).

Penn's Last Time Out
The Quakers wrapped up another Ivy League weekend in The Palestra with a 67-53 win over Brown on Saturday, led by three career performances. Senior Mia Lakstigala had a career-high 21 points with 5-for-10 from beyond the arc. Padilla set a career mark in assists with 11, the most by a Quaker in a single game since 2001 when Erin Ladley dished out 13 against Dartmouth. Junior Mandy McGurk had a career-high six steals to go with 10 points, the most steals by a Quakers in a game this season.
