PHILADELPHIA – Penn Wrestling is set to make its final regular-season road trip this weekend. The Quakers head to Washington, D.C. to take on American in dual meet action.

Last weekend, Penn went 2-0 improving to 7-2 overall. The Quakers' weekend started with an impressive 20-13 victory at #19 Princeton. The home team took an early lead with a win at 125 pounds but Penn quickly bounced back winning the next three bouts. Highlighting the victory was a major decision by
CJ Composto and an overtime victory by
Carmen Ferrante. Wins by
Lucas Revano and
Nick Incontrera helped solidify the win and
Ben Goldin wrapped up the victory with a 10-4 decision. Penn closed out the weekend with a senior day victory over Drexel, 35-8 on Sunday.
Kaya Sement opened the dual with a pin and wins by
Lucas Revano and
Neil Antrassian helped Penn jump out to a 12-0 lead. Back-to-back falls by
Cole Urbas and Goldin gave the Quakers a 26-6 lead.
American is coming off a 29-9 loss at Bucknell on February 6. The Eagles earned wins at 125, 174, and 285 pounds. American will take on Maryland on Saturday evening.
