Quaker Audio Network (QAN)
Again this season, Penn fans can listen to most of Penn's men's basketball games through the Quaker Audio Network, a free Internet-based audio streaming service. Matt Leon will be on the play-by-play call for both games this weekend, with former director of basketball operations Brad Fadem offering analysis. To access the Quaker Audio Network, simply type www.pennathletics.com/audio into your computer or device.

The Ivy Championship Race
Three teams are in the hunt for the championship, and all three play each other this weekend as first-place Yale (8-1) hosts second-place Penn (8-2) on Friday and third-place Princeton (7-2) on Saturday. With teams having only two (Penn) or three (Yale/Princeton) games left after the weekend, the title race could very well sort itself out Friday and Saturday night.

The Ivy Madness Scenario
Among the many scenarios in play this weekend, Penn can clinch a spot in Ivy Madness as early as Friday with a win over Yale or a Brown loss to Princeton. If neither of those things happen, the Quakers can clinch with a win over the Bears on Saturday.

The Yale-Brown Road Weekend
• Penn has made this New England swing every year dating back to 1956-57; the Quakers have swept the trip 27 times, split it 28 times, and been swept nine times.

• Penn has split the trip each of the last three seasons, including 2019-20 when the Quakers lost on Friday night at Yale but followed up with a win at Brown.

• Penn's last sweep came in 2017 (Brown Friday/Yale Saturday); Prior to that, the Quakers were swept three straight years from 2014-16. The last time Penn swept when the order was Yale/Brown? 2006.

The Penn-Yale Series
• The Quakers lead the overall series, 152-82, and have taken six of the last nine meetings after the Bulldogs won nine in a row from 2013-17.

• That said, Penn has lost its last three trips to the Lee Amphitheater and is just 2-9 in New Haven dating back to the 2009-10 season, the wins coming in 2017 (71-55) and 2011 (60-58).

• Penn won the first meeting this season at The Palestra, 76-68. Jordan Dingle had 31 points to lead the Quakers while Clark Slajchert scored 13 and Max Martz added 11.

• These teams split the series in 2019-20, Penn taking a 69-61 decision at The Palestra before Yale stunned the Quakers with a 76-73, comeback win here in New Haven. They were scheduled to meet in an Ivy League Tournament semifinal before the ILT was canceled.

The Penn-Brown Series
• The Quakers lead the overall series, 111-28, and have taken seven of the last eight and eight of the last 10 meetings dating back to the 2015-16 season.

• Penn has won each of its last four trips to the Pizzitola Sports Center, after losing three in a row from 2014-16.

• Penn won the first meeting this season back on January 2 at The Palestra, 77-73. George Smith led the Quakers with 23 points while Dingle added 20 and Michael Moshkovitz scored 16. Tamenang Choh scored 26 points for Brown.

• The teams split their meetings in 2019-20, Brown winning 75-63 at The Palestra but Penn rebounding with a 73-68 victory in Providence 15 days later.

Penn MBB By the Numbers
0 • Losses by Penn this year when leading at the half (10-0 in such games) and/or holding its opponent below 70 points (8-0 in such games).

1 • Player in program history who has put up three 30-point games in the same season: sophomore Jordan Dingle.

1 • Penn player who has started every game this season: fifth-year senior co-captain Jelani Williams; quite a feat, considering that when Williams started the season opener at Florida State it was his first game in 1,789 days, dating back to his senior year at Sidwell Friends when he tore an ACL prior to Christmas.

2.21 • Junior Michael Moshkovitz's assist/turnover ratio in Ivy League play (31/14), tops among Ivy players who average at least three assists per game.

4 • 30-point games this season by sophomore Jordan Dingle (31 against Utah State, Yale, at Harvard and 33 vs. Harvard at The Palestra); the last Penn player with four such games in the same season was Stan Pawlak in 1964-65.

5 • Consecutive Ivy League games won by Penn entering the weekend; it is the Quakers' longest Ivy win streak since their 2017-18 championship team started the conference campaign 7-0.

6.2 • Points-per-game difference between Ivy League games (9.0) and non-conference games (2.8) for freshman George Smith.

8 • Three-point baskets by Dingle last Saturday vs. Harvard (on just 10 attempts); it matched the second-best total in a game in program history, most recently by Tyler Bernardini twice during the 2010-11 season.

10 • Different starting lineups used by Penn so far this season; only 10 NCAA Division 1 schools have had more.

11 • Penn players who have at least one double-figure scoring game this season.

12.0 • Sophomore Clark Slajchert's points-per-game average over Penn's last nine games; he has hit double figures in seven of them, with eight and nine points in the other two.

13.4 • Martz's points-per-game average over Penn's last seven games; the sophomore—who missed last Saturday's win over Harvard due to COVID protocols—is shooting 59.7 pct from the field during that stretch (34-57).

15 • Years since Penn had swept a season series from Harvard, something the Quakers completed last Saturday; the last sweep was in 2006-07.

20.1 • Dingle's overall points-per-game average entering the weekend, tops among Ivy players; Dingle has hit double figures in 19 of 22 games this season and nine points in each of the other three.

27.4 • Dingle's points-per game average during Penn's five-game win streak.

36.9 • Penn's rebounds-per-game average in Ivy League play, tops among the Ancient Eight programs; the Quakers are also tops in defensive rebounds per game in Ivy play (28.7).

41 • Rebounds collected by Moshkovitz over Penn's last four games (9 vs. Yale, 9 at Harvard, 13 at Columbia, 10 at Cornell) before he was held off the boards last Saturday vs. Harvard.

47 • Three-point baskets by junior Jonah Charles so far this season, against just five two-point baskets.

47 • Years since a Penn player had back-to-back 30-point games, as Dingle did against Yale and Harvard on January 22 and 28 (making him the first player in program history with consecutive 30-point Ivy League games); Keven McDonald scored 35 points vs. Tennessee, then 32 one day later vs. Ohio State at the 1975 Sugar Bowl Classic.
