HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. – The 19th ranked University of Pennsylvania Wrestling team took home second place at the 58th annual Ken Kraft Midlands Championships. The two-day event was held at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Ill. The Quakers saw seven wrestlers reach the podium on Friday evening. With his 13 second fall on day one, #13

The Red and Blue did a lot of scoring on the mat. As a team, Penn earned 520 match points which was 133 more than second place Northwestern's 387. The Quakers totaled the most wins of any team with 68, nine more wins than 57 for second place Northwestern.

Michael Colaiocco took first place at 133 and #18
Nick Incontrera finished second at 174 pounds. #10
Doug Zapf took third place at 149 pounds and Artalona placed fourth at 157 pounds.

Ben Goldin (285) all placed seventh.
Colaiocco took first place with a 3-2 decision over Northwestern's Chris Cannon.
Incontrera placed second after losing by a 4-1 decision to Edmond Ruth of Illinois.
Zapf took third place with a 6-2 decision over SIUE's Caleb Tyus. Artalona lost by a 7-4 decision to take fourth place.
Lucas Revano placed seventh by injury default.
Urbas used a fall to take seventh place over SUIE's Ryan Yarnell.
A medical forfeit gave Goldin seventh place.
