PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania men's and women's fencing programs have announced their 2022-23 schedule, with competition slated to begin at the end of October at the Temple Open.
Following the short trip north to the Liacouras Center on October 29 and 30, the Red and Blue will host an Elite Invitational atthe Tse Center on November 19, the programs' final competition of 2022.
The Penn State Invitational on Sunday, Jan. 15 kicks off the 2023 slate, with the Quakers scheduled to host the Philly Invitational, again at the Tse Center, the following weekend. In one final tune-up before the Ivy Round-Robins, hosted by Cornell on February 11 and 12, the teams will head to Long Island for the LIU Invitational on February 4.
Temple will host its annual Invitational on Sunday, Feb. 25, the final event for the Quakers before the NCAA Regionals on Saturday, March 11 at a to-be-determined location.
The 2022-23 season will conclude with the NCAA Championships which will take place from Thursday, March 23 to Sunday, March 26 at Duke University in Durham, N.C.
