PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The University of Pennsylvania men's and women's squash teams continued Ivy League play Sunday from the Penn Squash Center. The #1-ranked men swept #11 Dartmouth to improve to 11-0, while the #9-ranked women knocked off the 12th-ranked Big Green, 6-3.
The women picked up four 3-0 wins and clinched the match before the start of the final flight.
Ashley Manning opened the day with a 3-0 win.
Emma Carter and
Avni Anand each followed with four-game wins. After Claire Aube got Dartmouth on the board to open the second flight,
Euwie Park picked up her second win of the weekend, extending Penn's lead to 4-1. After dropping a marathon first game 18-16,
Amina Abou El Enin bounced back to take the next three games and claim the match for Penn
The teams split the first two matches of the final flight, with
Jamila Abou El Enin dropping a four-game match and
Emma Wolf picking up a four-game win. In one of the tightest matches of the season,
Grace Lavin dropped a 51-minute, five-game nailbiter that included three games requiring extra points, including the fourth game, where Lavin fought off fought off a match ball to force the final, deciding game.

Both the men and women will travel to the Nutmeg State next weekend for a Saturday afternoon match with Trinity and a Sunday afternoon Ivy League match with Yale.
