The Series with Monmouth
The Quakers and the Hawks will square off for the fourth time in five seasons Saturday night, with the Quakers coming away the victors in each of the last two meetings, in 2018 (3-2) and 2019 (2-0), respectively.

About Monmouth
Monmouth comes into Saturday 2-2-2 on the season, with identical 1-1-1 marks both at home and on the road. The Hawks scored 10 goals in the season's first three matches, going 2-0-1 during that time; they've failed to score a goal in each of their last three matches, going 0-2-1 during that stretch.

A 6-seed in last Spring's MAAC Tournament, the Hawks knocked off 3-seed Niagara, 2-seed Rider, and 1-seed Quinnipiac to earn an NCAA Tournament berth, then defeated Bowling Green in the tournament's opening round.

Quaker Notemeal
*Penn enters with a 3-2-1 record for the season with victories over Fairleigh Dickinson, Colgate, and Mount St. Mary's (Md.).

*On Monday, the Quakers dropped a 1-0 heartbreaker to unbeaten Rutgers in the team's first road contest in two weeks. In the closing seconds of regulation, senior captain Isaac McGinnis ripped a hard low shot from 20 yards out that the Rutgers keeper just managed to keep off the goal line as the clock expired.

*Even with Monday's shutout loss, the Quakers enter the weekend tied for first among Ivy League teams in scoring margin (+1.00), as well as second in goals per match (2.333).

*The Quakers currently boast three of the top four assist leaders in the Ivy League, with senior Ben Stitz in first (.833 per match), slightly ahead of freshman Charlie Gaffney and senior Matt Leigh in a tie for third (.5 per match).

*Between the pipes, Dane Jacomen and Nick Christoffersen have continued splitting time, with Jacomen playing 270 minutes and Christoffersen totaling 290 minutes entering Saturday. The duo have combined for 18 saves and allowed just eight goals, with each posting a goals-against average below 1.70.
