The University of Pennsylvania sprint football team hits the road for its second game of the season on Saturday evening, traveling to Mansfield for a contest under the lights at Karl Van Norman Field.
Last Week
The Quakers opened the 2021 season with a 38-13 setback on the road against Army. It marked the first game for the Red and Blue in 685 days. Junior QB
Andrew Paolini passed for 255 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while
Brendan McCaffrey was on the receiving end of both TDs and racked up 191 yards receiving.
Penn – Mansfield Series History
Penn and Mansfield are meeting for the 13th time. The series began back in 2007. The Quakers have won all 12 of the previous meetings. In the last contest between the two, Penn scored a  54-21 win at Mansfield.
About Mansfield
The Mounties are 1-0 after opening the season with a 48-3 win against Cornell last week. Freshman Quarterback Cahsid Raymond was named Collegiate Sprint Football League (CSFL) Player and Newcomer of the Week and freshman corner Nakiem Scott was tabbed Defensive Player of the Week.

Andrew Paolini passed for 255 yards and a pair of touchdowns against Army. He connected with
Brendan McCaffrey on TD passes of 82 and 72 yards. It marked his first career start at QB for the Quakers.
Big Play Threat

Brendan McCaffrey caught three passes for a career-high 191 yards and two TDs at Army. It was the second time in his career he caught a pair of TD passes in a game. It was also his second career game with over 100 yards receiving.
All Over The Place
Junior LB
Lewis Evans had a team-high 12 tackles, thanks to recording eight solo stops at Army. It was his third career game with 10 or more tackles. Freshman LB
Jake Inserra had a strong debut for the Red and Blue versus the Black Knights. The Woodbine, New Jersey, native had 11 tackles, highlighted by four solo tackles.
