Wrestling Unveils 2021-22 Schedule

PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania's Hall of Fame Head Coach of Wrestling, Roger Reina C'84, WEV'05, has announced his team's schedule for the upcoming 2021-22 season. Highlighting the docket is a visit from reigning NCAA national runner-up Penn State, who will come to The Palestra for a dual meet for the first time since 2005.

"As our program continues to grow and gain even more momentum, we are very happy with our schedule," said Reina. "We're excited for the many opportunities our guys will have to take on national competition and keep climbing the ladder. In addition to high caliber competition we'll face on the road, including Journeyman and the always prestigious Midlands Championships, we are amped up to be hosting a great home schedule, including the Keystone in November, Penn State in December, as well as Oregon State, Columbia, Cornell, & Princeton in January and February. The Palestra is an absolutely incredible place to wrestle, it's a mecca for wrestling. Our fans and the Philly wrestling community will be in a for a real treat this season!"

The Red and Blue will compete in 12 dual meets in addition to trips to the Journeyman Collegiate Classic, Midlands and the Virginia Duals, with all sights set on the EIWA Championships at Cornell and the NCAA Championships at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit in March.
